32.  For dirty socks on the floor
33.  For paint that combined just the right way makes a painting  of beauty

35.  For tears that flow to offer relief of pain
36.  For books that take you to another country, another time
37.  For letters of black ink that allow me to communicate to others

Twenty-eight through Thirty

28.  For music in the car that reminds you to praise and to worship Him
29.  For calendars that remind you of what's ahead and tells you of what's behind
30.  For the color blue

Twenty-two through Twenty-seven

22.  For squeaky toy monsters that puppies find and squeak at MY bedtime
23.  For nightlights that take a darkened room and offer light
24.  For noise machines that somehow drown out the world's sounds as I lay my head to rest each night
25.  For promises given and brought to memory to be reminded of God's care
26.  For tv night with hubby where we laugh at the same moments and say the same things
27.  For cuddling, just the word brings warmth to my soul

12. That even in my innermost thoughts, I am not alone
13. For a lab who jumps puddles and splashes in happiness
14. For a walk in the cool of the evening after a storm has passes- it reminds me of the benefit of after the storm
15. For weeds to be pulled and mulch to be spread
16. For flower pots that take black dirt and seeds and create splendid color
17. For old friends that want to know if I want my tea hot or cold when I visit
18. For loved ones who pray me through my day
19. For the husband who seeks to hear my voice and feel my touch before I leave so early in the morning

One through Three

Today, I express gratitude for small things.  Today is the end of a week full of disappointments and discouragement.  The Ugly Blessings.  So today, Friday, I think of a few things this week that are enough to make me smile.

1.  The greeness of spring after a long hard winter
2.  A puppy's head curled up over my feet, keep them warm. 
3.  The laughter of friends when  you appear to be attacked by bugs

Beginning of the Journey

I have been dared to live fully right where I am.  Who dared me?  Was it the friend who suggested the book? Was it the author behind the words of the book?  Or was it the challenge of the Holy Spirit working within me, nudging me, remindng me that I CAN live life to the fullest.  And, What is life to the fullest?  Is it blessings or is it recognition of blessings?
